Customized Merchant Plates for Imprinters
Our custom merchant plates fit all flatbed, hand-held, electronic and airline validators. There are currently no pump-handle imprinters that have a space to accept merchant plates. Below is a small list to help you when ordering:

Long plates: Fit all flatbed imprinters, electronic imprinters, and validators. You can use 3 lines, with 22 characters per line.

Short plates: Fits all imprinters including portable (hand-held), flatbed, electronic, and validators. You can use 3 lines, with 17 characters per line.

Pump handle imprinters do not have an area to use a merchant plate. Most pump handles are designed to use pre-printed forms to imprint the credit card on the form.

You can put your plate information in the text box provided, seperating the lines with a hard return.

Plate cannot contain special characters. These characters are ( ) : ~ ! $ % ^ * " '

Keep in mind that when counting the characters per line, please include spaces and punctuation.
Normal plate information is as follows:
Merchant ID number
Company Name
City, State, and Zip
Remember, your plate is customized for your use, and you can put any information you want on the plate. |
