Retail accounts offer cheaper rates because of the simple fact that the merchant is taking the credit card and swiping it through the terminal. It shows Visa and MasterCard that you physically have the card in your hand and are swiping it through the terminal. It also shows that you are probably retaining a cusomter signature once the transaction is complete. This means a lot and this is the reason why we can give better rates on your account.
